Album unpacking앨범 언박싱
K-pop albums are a book plus a lottery. The CD is real; the photocard is why people buy four versions. Unpack over a clean table. Sleeves first, scissors second.
What is usually in the box
- Photobook — the concept. Do not fold the spine backwards.
- CD / Weverse album QR / Kit — platform albums may have no disc. That is intentional.
- Photocard (PC) — random per version. This is the inclusion people trade.
- Postcard, sticker, lyric paper, poster — posters are often folded. A “poster tube” version exists for some title tracks; read the product page.
- Message card / polaroid-style print — sometimes limited to first press.
Unpacking order that saves corners
- Photograph the sealed shrink if you might return a factory defect.
- Open the belly band without tearing the photobook cover.
- Bag the PC in a sleeve before you touch snacks.
- Flatten the poster under a book overnight if you will display it.
Versions
A / B / C (or “Nemo”, jewel case, platform) are different photobooks, not different albums musically. Stores list “random version” when they pick for you. See binder tips and photocard culture.
