Saturday Hongdae is a different country from Tuesday Hongdae. Palaces, cafes, and outbound KTX all spike. Put outdoor icons on weekday mornings when you can.

Palaces: opening hour on a weekday beats noon Saturday, even in winter. Palace hours.
Seongsu / Seochon cafes: queues are the attraction for some; skip or go at 8:30 if you just want coffee.
Friday 18:00 KTX to Busan is the business-traveler crush. Saturday morning trains are kinder. KTX.
Nightlife districts on Saturday 1am need a taxi plan. Last subway is earlier than you think. Late night.
