🚻 Toilets are cleaner than you fear

Seoul subway stations almost always have restrooms. Palaces and department stores are reliable. Carry a small tissue pack for older neighborhood bathrooms.

Find them: follow 화장실 signs, or search Naver Map for 화장실. Cafe toilets are for customers — buy a drink if you use one in a small shop.
Bidet panels look like airplane controls. The blue/rear wash is optional. Dry with paper; do not assume an automatic dryer.
Squat toilets still appear in some parks and old stations. Sit toilets are the default in tourist areas.

Do not flush huge wipes if a bin is provided. Follow the pictogram.
