π― Five palaces, five closed-day traps
Seoulβs royal sites stagger their weekly closed days (often Tuesday). Check the morning-of notice. Combined tickets exist; hanbok can already zero the price β <a href="hanbok-rental.html">hanbok rental</a>.
Gyeongbokgung is the crowd magnet and changing of the guard. Go at opening or late afternoon. Gwanghwamun is the photogenic gate β do not stop in the traffic island.
Changdeokgung secret garden (νμ) needs a timed tour. Book ahead in peak blossom/foliage.
English audio / volunteer guides vary by day. The palace apps and paper maps are enough if you missed the English slot.
Shoes and thresholds: some halls ask you not to sit on wood rails. Follow the rope lines.

Night openings are seasonal and sell out. They are not the same as daytime tickets.
