πΊοΈ Maps that work in Korea
Walking directions, bus numbers, and subway exits are the gap. Install Naver Map (λ€μ΄λ² μ§λ) or KakaoMap before you lose airport Wi-Fi.
Naver Map has strong public-transit routing and street-level POIs (cafes, clinics). Switch the app language in settings; place names still appear in Korean β save the hotel as a favorite.
KakaoMap pairs with Kakao T. If your driver uses Kakao, sending a KakaoMap pin is the least confusing option.
Google Maps is acceptable for big-picture geography and some driving, weak for last-meter walking and many bus lines. Apple Maps is similar. Do not delete your Korean app after one search.
Offline. Download Seoul (and Busan if needed) inside Naver Map. Basement restaurants kill signal.
Subway line colors match the real map. Exit numbers matter more than street names in downtown Seoul.
