๐Ÿถ Pour for others, turn away to sip

You will be poured for. Pour for others when their glass is empty. Hold the bottle with two hands if someone older is at the table. None of this is a legal requirement โ€” it is smoothness.

Receive with two hands (or one hand supporting the wrist). A slight turn away when drinking in front of elders is the classic move.
Do not pour your own in a formal mixed-age group if you can help it. In a backpacker pojangmacha, nobody is grading you.
Saying no: ๊ดœ์ฐฎ์•„์š” + a smile + a full glass you have not finished. Forcing drinks is uncool; leaving is allowed. If you feel unsafe.
Pairing: soju with barbecue is the clichรฉ because it works. Water in between is not weakness. Broader etiquette.

Driving after any soju is a hard no. Kakao T exists for this. Public drunkenness on the subway is frowned on more than tourists expect.
