Connecting clauses — 고, 서, 지만

And, so/after, and but — enough to tell a short story.

고 and 서 are not twins

-고 stacks actions: 먹고 가요 “I eat and go.” -아서/어서 often means sequence or reason: 일어나서 커피 마셔요. -지만 is “but”: 작고 비싸지만 좋아요.

집에 가서 쉴 거예요.
