제주도 is South Korea's largest island — a volcanic island with extraordinary natural landscapes. It's a triple UNESCO designation: World Natural Heritage (Hallasan, lava tubes, Seongsan Ilchulbong), Biosphere Reserve, and Global Geopark. Black lava coasts, tangerine orchards, and the legendary 해녀 (haenyeo) female divers make Jeju unlike anywhere else in Korea.

How to Experience Jeju Island

1. Fly from Seoul Gimpo to Jeju (1 hour, ₩50,000–₩100,000) — world's busiest air route.
2. Rent a car — Jeju public transport is insufficient. International licence required.
3. Day 1: Seongsan Ilchulbong sunrise + haenyeo show + Udo Island ferry.
4. Day 2: Hallasan National Park summit hike (Seongpanak trail, 9.6km, 5–6 hours).
5. Day 3: Manjanggul Lava Tube + Hyeopjae Beach + Olle Trail coastal walk.
