Sulwhasoo's flagship first essence, known in Korea as 윤조에센스 (yunjo essence), and the product that established the whole apply-before-everything-else category. It is a herbal blend in a light, faintly oily fluid rather than a ferment, with the brand's hanbang framing — Korean traditional-medicine botanicals, ginseng foremost — carried throughout.
