Laneige's attempt to collapse two steps into one: a moisturiser broken down into a milky, pourable liquid so it can be applied like a toner. White leaf tea water forms the base and there is a ceramide element in the emulsion. It feels like thin milk, sinks in quickly, and leaves a soft finish rather than a film you can feel sitting there.

Dry and normal skin that finds a full cream heavy, and anyone who wants a shorter routine without giving up comfort. It suits mature skin well. Oily skin can use it as a summer moisturiser in its own right. Very dry skin in winter will still want a proper cream over the top — the two-in-one idea only stretches so far.
How to use it
Use it as your toner step, AM and PM: a coin-sized pour pressed in with the hands, layered two or three times if your skin is dry. On humid days it can stand in for a light moisturiser altogether. Give it a moment to settle before sunscreen so nothing pills.
