Isntree Yam Root Vegan Milk Cleanser
A low-pH milk cleanser built around yam root (마, ma), an ingredient chosen for its viscous, mucilaginous texture as much as anything else. It behaves like a cream cleanser: no foam, a slippery massage, and a rinse that leaves skin soft rather than squeaky. Isntree formulates it without animal-derived ingredients. It sits in the same niche as the brand's hydration range — comfort first, actives elsewhere in the routine.
Who it suits
Dry, dehydrated and sensitive skin, and anyone whose barrier is currently unhappy from too much exfoliation. A good morning cleanser for skin that does not want to foam before breakfast. Oily and congested skin usually finds milk cleansers unsatisfying and will get on better with a low-pH gel or a light foam.
How to use it
Apply to dry or lightly damp skin, massage for around thirty seconds, then rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. Morning and evening. In the evening treat it as the second step after an oil or balm if you have worn makeup or sunscreen — a milk cleanser alone will not clear a water-resistant SPF.
