Illiyoon Ceramide Ato Concentrate Cream
A large tub of unglamorous ceramide cream sold in Korean pharmacies and supermarkets and bought by the kilo for whole families. 아토 (ato) refers to atopy-prone dry skin, the market it was designed for. Thick, fragrance-free, unremarkable to use and cheap per gram. It works on face and body, which is unusual for a cream at this weight and is largely why it has the following it does.

Very dry skin, dry legs and arms through winter, and adults and children with atopy-prone skin who have been told to moisturise constantly. On the face it suits dry and sensitive types. Oily and combination skin should keep it below the neck. Anyone with a diagnosed skin condition should follow their clinician's advice on emollients rather than substituting a cosmetic tub.
How to use it
Apply generously to damp skin straight after washing, when it has the most water to hold — on the body, within a few minutes of leaving the shower. On the face, use it as a night cream over serum, a fingertip at a time. Reapply on the body as often as you like; there is no reason to ration it.
