COSRX Aloe Soothing Sun Cream SPF50 PA+++
One of the older Korean sunscreens still in wide circulation: a lightweight aloe-based organic-filter cream with a slightly dewy finish, rated SPF50 PA+++ rather than the PA++++ most newer Korean formulas carry. It is cheap, unfussy and gentle enough for daily use, and it was many people's first no-cast sunscreen before the current generation of watery fluids arrived on the market.
What it is built around
Who it suits
Dry and normal skin, sensitive skin after a plain organic-filter option, and anyone who wants one cheap sunscreen for face and body. It is comfortable under makeup on drier skin. Oily skin will find it slightly greasy by afternoon. If you specifically want the highest UVA rating available, choose a PA++++ formula instead of this one.
How to use it
Final morning step, two fingers' length for face and neck. Give it a quarter of an hour to set before sun exposure. It layers over most moisturisers without pilling but does not love heavy silicone primers on top. Reapply every couple of hours outdoors, and after swimming or towelling dry.
