Beauty of Joseon Radiance Cleansing Balm
A sherbet balm built around rice bran oil, keeping Beauty of Joseon's hanbang framing consistent across the range. It melts fast, has a slightly thinner working texture than the shea-heavy balms, and emulsifies without much coaxing. The radiance in the name comes from a clean, well-hydrated surface after a thorough first cleanse — it is not a brightening product, and the brand is reasonably honest about that on the pack.
What it is built around
Who it suits
Normal to dry skin that wants a comfortable first cleanse without a heavy after-feel, and anyone already using the brand's Relief Sun sunscreen who wants something that reliably removes it. Combination skin gets on with it well. If your main concern is oiliness or active congestion, a lighter oil rinses more completely and will serve you better as a nightly first step.
How to use it
Spatula a scoop onto dry hands, work into dry skin for thirty to sixty seconds, then add water and emulsify to a milk before rinsing. Follow with a water-based cleanser. Evening only. If you have worn a mineral or heavily water-resistant sunscreen, give it the full minute rather than rushing.
