A'PIEU Madecassoside Ampoule
A cheap, plain ampoule built around madecassoside, the isolated centella fraction with the most laboratory work behind it for the appearance of irritated skin. There is very little else in the bottle and the texture is thin and watery — closer to a hydrating toner than the rich concentrate the word 앰플 (aempul, ampoule) implies. In Korea that word marks a marketing tier rather than a concentration standard, which is worth knowing before you pay for one.

Sensitive and easily-flushed skin on a budget, oily skin that dislikes richer soothing products, and anyone who wants a neutral layer between actives. Normal and combination skin can use it as a light hydrating step. Dry skin will need a proper cream over it. If you already own a centella ampoule, this does the same job and there is no reason to own two.
How to use it
After toner, before moisturiser, morning or evening. A few drops pressed over the face or applied just to the red areas. It absorbs quickly and layers under sunscreen without pilling. On an irritated day, use it generously under a bland moisturiser and pause exfoliants until your skin looks settled.
