AMOREPACIFIC Treatment Enzyme Peel
A powder cleanser and enzyme exfoliant, and one of the most copied product formats to come out of Korea. The powder activates when you add water in your palm, foaming into a soft lather while enzymes work on the surface layer of dead cells. It is a considered, well-engineered version of a format that is now everywhere. Powder also solves a real problem: it needs no preservative load and travels without leaking.
Who it suits
Normal, combination and dry skin dealing with a rough or dull surface that finds acids too provoking. Enzyme exfoliation is milder than acid exfoliation and easier to fit alongside retinoids, so it suits people already running an active routine. Very oily or heavily congested skin will get more from a BHA. It is usable on sensitive skin, but start once a week.
How to use it
Tip a small amount of powder into a wet palm, add water, and work into a lather before massaging over damp skin for thirty to sixty seconds. Rinse lukewarm. Two or three times a week in the evening, in place of your usual second cleanse โ not in addition to it. Never on the same night as a leave-on acid or retinoid.
