Aestura Atobarrier 365 Cream

⏱ 2 min read
Quick answer: Atobarrier 365 Cream is Aestura's moisturizer / cream, built around Ceramides. Dry, tight, easily irritated skin, and anyone recovering from over-exfoliation or a rushed retinoid ramp-up.

Aestura is Amorepacific's dermocosmetic arm, sold through Korean pharmacies, and Atobarrier 365 is its barrier cream: a ceramide-led, fragrance-free formula that has spent a long time at or near the top of Olive Young's moisturiser rankings. The texture is rich but absorbs better than its density suggests. It is the closest Korean equivalent to the European pharmacy barrier creams many people already trust.

What it is built around

🧱 Ceramides

Who it suits

Dry, tight, easily irritated skin, and anyone recovering from over-exfoliation or a rushed retinoid ramp-up. It makes a sensible winter cream for normal skin too. Oily skin will find it more than it needs. If you want brightening or texture work, this is not that product — it does one job, which is holding moisture in and keeping skin comfortable.

🧱 Damaged moisture barrier🥵 Dryness & dehydration🌡️ Reactive & easily-stung skin🍂 Flaking & peeling

How to use it

Last step at night, on damp skin, over whatever serum you use. A generous fingertip. In the morning, a thinner layer under sunscreen if your skin runs dry, or swap to something lighter. It layers cleanly under most sunscreens, but give it two or three minutes to settle before the SPF goes on.

⚠️ Worth knowing: There is a lotion and a cream in the same line, and buying the wrong one is the commonest complaint. It is fragrance-free but not inert — a few people react to the emulsifier system. And a barrier cream supports comfort and the look of dryness; if skin is cracking, weeping or itching persistently, that is a dermatologist's call, not a shopping decision.
