⏱ 1 min read
⚡ Quick answer: Does Kaolin Clay suit acne-prone skin? Absorbs surface oil without the tightness of stronger clays. What it does for acne-prone skin, when to use it (PM), and how to work it into a Korean routine.
Is Kaolin Clay good for acne-prone skin?
The gentlest of the common cosmetic clays, and the one Korean wash-off masks lean on when they want oil control without a stripped face. Kaolin soaks up sebum sitting on the surface. It does not reach into a pore, dissolve a blackhead or shrink anything — those are jobs for a BHA, if they are jobs at all.
Why it suits acne-prone skin
- Absorbs surface oil without the tightness of stronger clays
- Gives wash-off masks their body and mattifying finish
💡 How to use: PM · patch-test and introduce gradually.
