Activated Charcoal for oily skin

⏱ 1 min read
Quick answer: Does Activated Charcoal suit oily skin? Adsorbs oil and grime sitting on the skin surface. What it does for oily skin, when to use it (PM), and how to work it into a Korean routine.

Is Activated Charcoal good for oily skin?

Charcoal binds things to its surface, which is why it works in water filters and why it looks convincing in a black clay mask. On skin it picks up surface oil during the couple of minutes it is there. The detox framing is nonsense — nothing is being drawn out of a pore, and a peel-off charcoal mask mostly removes your vellus hair.

Why it suits oily skin

💡 How to use: PM · patch-test and introduce gradually.
