How Polymethylsilsesquioxane works 폴리메틸실세스퀴옥산
Polymethylsilsesquioxane is manufactured as uniform microscopic spheres. On skin they roll rather than drag, giving the characteristic powdery slip of a blurring primer, and they scatter light in many directions at once so shadows inside pores and creases lose their definition. This is the same principle as soft-focus photography. Nothing is absorbed, altered or treated — the spheres sit there until you remove them. The same particles are used to give pressed powders and cushion compacts their cushioned slip, which is why they turn up in makeup as often as in skincare.

How long does Korean skincare take to work?
Most skincare, Korean or otherwise, needs time. Hydration benefits can appear quickly, but visible changes in tone, texture or fine lines typically take several weeks to a few months of consistent use, roughly one skin cycle or more. Sun protection and patience matter more than any single product.
Does Korean skincare work for deeper skin tones?
The skincare does — hydration, barrier support and soothing actives are not tone-specific. The friction points are mineral sunscreens that leave a cast and a colour-cosmetics shade range that has historically been narrow.
