How Cyclopentasiloxane works 사이클로펜타실록산
Cyclopentasiloxane is a volatile cyclic silicone with very low surface tension, so it spreads across skin almost instantly and carries heavier ingredients with it in a thin, even layer. Within a few minutes it evaporates and leaves only what it was carrying. Because it does not remain on the surface, the occlusion argument used against silicones in general does not really apply to this one. Its volatility is also why sun sticks and primers built on it feel briefly cool going on — evaporation takes a little heat with it.

🙋 People also ask
How long does Korean skincare take to work?
Most skincare, Korean or otherwise, needs time. Hydration benefits can appear quickly, but visible changes in tone, texture or fine lines typically take several weeks to a few months of consistent use, roughly one skin cycle or more. Sun protection and patience matter more than any single product.
Does Korean skincare work for deeper skin tones?
The skincare does — hydration, barrier support and soothing actives are not tone-specific. The friction points are mineral sunscreens that leave a cast and a colour-cosmetics shade range that has historically been narrow.
