Do not treat your face with your Korean scalp tonic — and vice versa 두피 vs 얼굴 성분
Scalp tonics, peel pads, and hair-growth formulas are not face serums. They can be more acidic, more mentholated, or simply not eye-safe. Face retinoids and acids are not a dandruff plan. Keep the two routines on their own real estate, and rinse sweat from the hairline after workouts so face products are not sitting in a salty mix.
Hairline breakouts
Conditioner and pomade on the forehead are a common acne-along-the-hairline story. Rinse, then your usual face cleanse. Do not add a scalp acid to the cheeks to 'match'.
Menthol and fragrance
Many Korean scalp products tingle on purpose. That tingle on eyelid skin is a bad idea.
Shared ingredients, different jobs
Niacinamide or salicylic acid can appear in both categories. Concentration, pH, and leave-on time still differ. Read the label for the site of use.
Not medical
Hair loss, psoriasis, and infection signs need a clinician. This page is product-category hygiene.
