Exosomes: what the evidence says
The claim: Topical exosomes regenerate skin and dramatically boost firmness and glow.
Emerging evidence
What the research actually shows
Exosomes are tiny cell-derived vesicles attracting strong interest as a next-generation cosmetic ingredient for a smoother, more radiant look. The science is early: most compelling data comes from lab or procedural (post-microneedling, in-clinic) settings, and whether intact exosomes meaningfully penetrate or remain stable in an over-the-counter leave-on product is unresolved. There are also no standardized cosmetic concentrations or potency measures. Regenerative or dramatic-firming claims are not supported for ordinary topical use; current realistic benefit is conditioning and the appearance of improved texture.
