🏖️ Haeundae is a district, not just sand

Summer weekends feel like a festival. Shoulder season is for walking the beach road and eating without a 40-minute wait. Line 2 drops you close; taxis crawl in July.

Haeundae Station (Line 2) is the useful stop. Follow beach signs; “Haeundae” also means the wider neighborhood.
Swim only when flags and lifeguards say so. Jellyfish weeks happen. Shade is scarce — convenience-store umbrellas sell out.
Dalmaji-gil at dusk if the sand is too loud. Cheongsapo is a short taxi for sunrise. Day trips from Seoul do not include a relaxed Haeundae day — stay overnight.
