The postcard palace is closed most Tuesdays. Check the official calendar the morning you go. Hanbok rental nearby can waive the ticket — still pay for the rental.

Closed Tuesdays (exceptions on holidays — verify). If Tuesday is your only palace day, switch to Changdeokgung or a museum. Palace tickets.
Hanbok often means free palace entry. Rent near the gate; return on time. Hanbok rental.
Mornings beat tour-bus noon. Gyeongbokgung + Insadong is a walk; do not add Namsan the same morning unless you like suffering.
